Mark Harvey

Adjunct


Dr. Mark Harvey is a specialist in geothermal exploration and remote sensing, bringing a wealth of global, real-world field experience directly into the classroom. Originally from New Zealand, Mark earned his PhD in Geothermal Exploration from the University of Auckland. Mark uses InSAR (Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar) to map minute surface deformations—down to just a few millimeters per year—caused by tectonic movements, volcanic activity, and human activities.
