Allison Rivera
M.S. Student
I am currently a master’s student in the Geomorphology Lab. My undergraduate research focused on geoarchaeology, where I studied relict charcoal hearths and the effects of hillslope charcoal migration. For my MS, I am transitioning to fluvial geomorphology, with a focus on fluvial discontinuities, such as beaver dams and mill dams, and their influence on sedimentation in river systems. I have also developed a deep appreciation for beavers and their role in shaping waterways.
