Josef Hohensee
M.S. Student
I am a M.S. student studying carbonate sedimentology and geochemistry in the Earth Science Department. Prior to coming to UCONN, I received my Bachelor of Science in Geology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. My undergraduate research was focused primarily on the stable isotope geochemistry of biogenic phosphate in Allosaurus Fragilis tooth enamel and its implication for dietary niche partitioning. My master’s research is on understanding the deposition and range of Baffin Bay detrital carbonate deposits in marine Pleistocene sediment cores from the Western coast of Greenland.
