My research focuses on investigating climate and landscape evolution in Southern New England during the Holocene and Anthropocene after the retreat of the Laurentide ice sheet using geochemical analysis of lake core samples. I specifically am focusing on forest fires in Southern New England and looking at the climate variation in relation to forest fires.
