Mary Grace Albright
Ph.D. Student
I received my Bachelor’s of Science in Applied Mathematics from Furman University, with a minor in Environmental Studies. I am fascinated with the intersection between these two disciplines, which is what led me to research in paleoclimate modeling. Currently, my work explores the use of high resolution simulations to understand hydroclimate changes in the North American Southwest during periods of elevated atmospheric CO2. I am interested in determining how weather systems change under warmer intervals in the Earth’s history so that we might gain a greater understand as to how they could change in the future.
